The Timothy L. Stephens Jr. MD Orthopaedic Fellowship for Minority Medical Students In collaboration with St. Luke's Foundation of Cleveland, University Hospitals Case Medical Center is offering an innovative program designed to strengthen and expand the participation of underrepresented minority medical students in the profession of orthopaedic surgery. The Timothy L. Stephens Jr., MD, Orthopaedic Fellowship selects medical student each year to participate in intensive clinical and research opportunities under leading orthopaedic specialists at University Hospitals Case Medical Center. Experiences gained during this fellowship will enable participants to be strong contenders for positions in orthopaedic residency programs nationwide upon graduation from medical school. This fellowship is under the direction of Dr. Richard E. Grant, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and the Edgar B. Jackson Chair for Diversity at UHCMC, and member of the JRGOS.
