Wendell Cole, MD is a Gladden Society Member who specializes in Sports Medicine, practicing in the metro Atlanta area. Dr. Cole graduated from Morehouse School of Medicine in 2018, completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at Tulane University, and completed a fellowship in sports medicine at NYU Langone. Dr. Cole is a published author, having written 2 books: “The Med School Survival Kit: How to Breeze Through Medical School While Crushing Your Exams”, and “Nailed it Ortho: Board/OITE Companion Review” book.

Dr. Cole, along withmedical school classmate and Orthopaedic Spine surgeon, Jay Fitts, MD, started the Orthopaedic Educational Podcast “Nailed it Ortho”. With both of them coming from a medical school with no home orthopaedic surgery program, they felt behind when it came to their Orthopaedic away rotations. In 2018 they started the podcast to teach “high yield” Orthopaedic Surgery topics. Since then they have published over 300 episodes, including a highly popular orthopaedic Board/OITE review series featuring orthopaedic Oncologist Dr. Spencer Woolwine. The podcast is coming close to 1,000,000 downloads.
