Do’s & Don’ts of an Orthopaedic Acting Internship

Introduction for Do’s and Don’ts of an Orthopaedic Acting Internship (Sub I):

Medical students often find themselves filled with questions and uncertainty when preparing for orthopaedic acting internships (Sub I). These rotations are a critical opportunity to showcase clinical skills, build relationships with residency programs, and gain deeper exposure to the field of orthopaedic surgery. To help guide students through this important phase, the J. Robert Gladden Orthopaedic Society (JRGOS) has created The Do’s and Don’ts of an Orthopaedic Acting Internship — a video series designed to address common concerns and provide practical advice on how to prepare, perform, and stand out during acting internships (Sub I). Whether approaching the first acting internship (Sub I) or looking to refine strategy, the JRGOS guide offers essential tips to help succeed.
