A Castle Connolly Top Doctor and Commonwealth Fund Fellow, she is dedicated to eliminating orthopedic disparities and mentoring the next generation of underrepresented physicians.

Dr. Selina Poon is a board-certified pediatric orthopaedic surgeon and the Director of Research at Shriners Children’s Southern California. A Board Examiner for the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, she is a national leader in treating complex pediatric spine and limb deformities. Dr. Poon currently serves as Treasurer for the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America (POSNA) and is dedicated to advancing surgical research and clinical excellence. She completed her residency at Baylor College of Medicine and her fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at Columbia University.
