The 2025 JRGOS Foundations of Orthopaedic Surgery Symposium (JFOS) is a signature educational initiative of the J. Robert Gladden Orthopaedic Society. It welcomes newly matched interns into the broader orthopaedic community of residents and attending physicians. This year’s symposium was held in Kansas City, Missouri, and hosted over 100 interns, residents and attending faculty.

JFOS returning faculty member Aaron Taylor, MD—Assistant Professor in the Division of Orthopaedic Trauma at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine—exemplifies the foundation of JFOS’s continued success educating incoming interns and residents. Dr. Taylor completed his Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York.
