Free AOFAS Medical Student Bioskills Workshop

On behalf of the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS), JRGOS would like to invite all medical student members to attend the Foot & Ankle Medical Student Bioskills workshop in Chicago. This event is FREE for all medical students and will expose attendees to the vast field of Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle.

Day Includes:

  • Introduction and overview of foot and ankle orthopaedic surgery careers

  • Stryker orthopaedic power tool workshop: Get training and hands-on experience with drills and other power tools used in orthopaedic surgery

  • Lunch and informal faculty Q&A about applying for residency, the specialty, etc.

  • Sawbones workshop: AOFAS faculty will guide attendees through foot and ankle procedures on Sawbones

  • Case and procedure presentations by faculty
