Collaborative Summit on Health Equity and Value-Based Care

The J. Robert Gladden Orthopaedic Society is a sponsor ofthe Collaborative Summit on Health Equity and Value-Based Care in Orthopaedic Surgeryat Duke University. This Summit brings together thought leaders, policymakers, practitioners, and researchers to address Health Equity in Orthopaedic Surgery through policy and practice.

Co-Chairs for this important Summit include Gladden Members Christian Pean, MD, Chair of JRGOS Innovation Committee and Erica Taylor, MD, JRGOS Past- Vice President, Past-Treasurer, and Past-Mentorship Chair. In addition, JRGOS Board Member Ronald Delanois,MD is serving as faculty.

The Summit will focus on innovative approaches to value-based care and population health in Orthopaedic Surgery, emphasizing strategies to address racial healthcare disparities. The goal of the Summit is to inspire discussions, collaborative research, and policy advocacy efforts that will create Health Equity in Orthopaedic Surgery.
