How has this Program influenced your thoughts about a career
as a clinician scientist?

Brendan Williams, MD:As a 2019 CSCDP alum, it was an honor to return to the program this year as JRGOS faculty. I had a wonderful time meeting the program attendees (including 4 sponsored by JRGOS!) and learning from the other faculty. It was great to engage in an important discussion focused on diversity in orthopaedics. Hopefully, I left the audience with some actionable things they could do to support efforts to improve the diversity within our field.

Vidushan Nadarajah, MD:Participating in the ORS CSCDP program was transformative, offering more than just technical knowledge—it fostered deep personal reflection on leadership and growth. The program highlighted how aligning personal values with professional goals creates sustainable impact, reinforcing my commitment to integrating resilience and purpose into my clinical career. I left with a clearer understanding of how intentional practice and focused leadership can support my ambitions of advancing orthopaedics through both innovation and compassionate care.
