Erica Taylor, M.D., M.B.A. has announced that enrollment is open for the summer cohort of theOrthopaedic Diversity Leadership Consortium (ODLC) Leadership Certificate Program. Dr. Taylor is the founder and CEO of ODLC and is a former Gladden Vice President, Treasurer and Mentorship Chair. Dr. Taylor successfully completed the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program; her national cohort graduated in May 2024.

The ODLC Leadership Certificate Program is a Cornell University online diversity and leadership development course. The Certificate Program offers and combines the fundamentals of diversity with coursework, focused on the necessary components driving organizational transformation.

ODLC has been further recognized and selected as an Equity Transformation Partner (ETP) by the American Hospital Association (AHA). The AHA represents 5,000 hospitals, healthcare networks, and patient communities across the nation, as well as, 43,000 individual members. ODLC was identified as a vetted partner to assist AHA member hospitals and health systems to advance equity based on its achievements and expertise.

Dr. Taylor is also the co-chair of the upcoming Duke University Collaborative Summit on Health Equity and Value Based Care.She has many roles at Duke University School of Medicine including Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, Vice Chair of Diversity, Duke Orthopaedics, and Duke Health Integrated Practice Chief Medical Officer of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
