Public areas of this site are open to anyone. Member areas — including member resources, application forms and the member dashboard — are available only to current JRGOS members at the membership levels that include them, and to Society staff.

• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity that happens under your account.
• Please give accurate information when you join, renew or update your profile, and keep it current — we use it to administer your membership and to contact you.
• Accounts are personal to you. Do not share your credentials or let another person use your member access.
• Tell us promptly at info@gladdensociety.org if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Membership is annual. When you select a membership level you are taken to a secure checkout, where the amount is shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Authorize.Net; JRGOS does not store card numbers on this website.

Membership benefits, and which of them apply, depend on the level you hold. Access to member-only areas ends when your membership lapses.

If you believe a payment was taken in error, or you need to ask about a refund, please contact the Society at info@gladdensociety.org.

This site accepts submissions of many kinds — grant and award applications, research abstracts, photographs, videos, job postings, case material for education, and general inquiries.

When you send us material for publication or promotion, you grant JRGOS the right to use, reproduce and share it in connection with the Society’s work, with appropriate credit. You keep ownership of what you submit.

By submitting, you confirm that:

• the material is yours to send, or you have permission to send it;
• you have the consent of any identifiable person appearing in a photograph or video;
• the material does not contain patient-identifiable information unless you have the necessary consent and authorization to share it;
• the material is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

We may decline, edit for length or format, or remove any submission.

The content of this site — text, design, logos, photographs, educational material and the JRGOS name and marks — belongs to JRGOS or to the people who licensed it to us. You may read it, and print or download a copy for your own professional and educational use. You may not republish it, sell it, or present it as your own without our written permission.

Please do not use this site to do anything unlawful, to misrepresent who you are, to interfere with the site’s operation or security, to attempt access to areas or accounts that are not yours, to extract data by automated means without our permission, or to upload anything malicious.

Some JRGOS services use artificial intelligence. AI-generated responses may not always be complete or accurate, and official JRGOS records and communications remain the authoritative source for membership status, payments, registrations and educational records. How information is processed by these services is described in our Privacy Policy.

JRGOS is a professional society, and this site carries educational and scientific material contributed by members and partners. Nothing on this site is medical, legal, financial or professional advice, and nothing here establishes a physician-patient relationship. Clinical decisions remain the responsibility of the treating clinician, exercising independent professional judgment.

This site links to organizations we work with, including our journal partner, our payment processor and our social media channels. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for their content.

We aim to keep this site available and current, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site, including member features, and we may need to take it offline for maintenance.

This site and its content are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. JRGOS is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may suspend or end access to member areas where membership has lapsed, where these terms have been breached, or where we are required to. You may stop using the site at any time, and you may ask us about your membership at the address below.

We may update these terms. The revised version will be posted here with a new “last updated” date, and continued use of the site after that means you accept the change.
